About Me
Hi, I'm glad you've stopped by. Let me tell you a little about myself...
My name is Amy Morton and I help my clients feel good and gain confidence. Whether its getting healthier, gaining strength, endurance, losing weight, feeling better, being more present in their lives... I've been involved in the health and wellness industry for a long time. I'm passionate about helping people - helping you feel better, get stronger, become more flexible, eat healthier, breath more, connect mind and body and to overcome obstacles you may feel you have. I have lots of qualifications (see below) and i've worked in gyms, studios and privately - as a personal trainer, a health coach, a nutritionist, a fitness class teacher, a yoga instructor, a meditation teacher... What i feel is of utmost importance and a few things I've learned along the way: 1. In order to get results, you need to get consistent. 2. In order to stay consistent, you need to be accountable. 3. Not everyone is the same and different techniques work for different mental and physical types. 4. Improvement is always possible. I combine all of my knowledge and experience, I talk to you as a unique person and learn about you - where you are now, what worked and didn't work in the past, and what you'd like moving forward. I create a unique program for you and I stay with you on your journey - guiding you along the way, keeping you accountable, teaching proper form and activation, and all kinds of tips that help in improving fitness and nutrition. I come from a place of understanding. I accept you as you are. I work with you to find where you excel and where you get stuck, and we find what works for you. I can be firm and tough when needed, I'm always respectful and am usually positive. It's who I am! This does NOT mean I say 'awesome!' all the time and air high five you - because i'm a mature, new york raised girl - I have my fair share of humor and sarcasm. HOWEVER, when it comes to YOU, I am here to help you and to always shed positive light. I'm also really sincere. I say what I mean. I believe in you. Helping you discover yourself Is one of the most satisfying parts of my job and I look forward to it. I don't like salesy fake people. I don't like promises gyms and programs make that they can't keep. I am therefore really NOT like that. Any questions? - send me an email. I read them!
